Get Your Green On

This week, I'll be featuring some of my favorite green items from around the web. Green is a color that can be used in basically every room of the house. Today, I'll focus on some ideas for how you can use it in the bedroom. First, a lovely and inexpensive throw pillow that can add a unique touch to the comforter set. Then, some beautiful vases and jewel scatters to help accent the top of dressers or shelves. Next time, I'll be featuring green items for the kitchen and dining room. See you then!

Great Lamps at Great Prices

I found these three great lamps while browsing Walmart.com today. All of them are classy and elegant, and definitely don't look like they cost so little.

Newport Table Lamp, Black - $56.44

White Ceramic Lamp with Brown Dot Shade - $39.76

Glass Spheres Column Table Lamp - $55.88

Entryways & Halls Need Love Too!

Found this great table over at HomeVisions.com. I think it'd be a good piece to place in the entrance or hallway of a house. It also might be nice next to two reading chairs in the corner of a living room. It's $99.99 on sale right now, originally $119.99. It's solid wood with a black satin finish. I love the curves of it, which make it a much more interesting piece. Get this Hadley Booksellers Table now at Homevisions.com!

From Overstock: A Bed in a Bag with Style

Came across this lovely looking set at Overstock. Yes, it's a bed in a bag, but what's wrong with that if it's this beautiful?! You get your sheets, comforter, and pillow cases all for $99.99 (marked down from $179.99!) and you have one whole piece of the bedroom decor puzzle solved! Black and white is a great palette to start with because you can add any other color you like to them. How good would bright red accents look with this? Or what about a pale blue? My two cents: a very good set for a very good price! Get the Branches Black 7-piece Bedding Ensembleicon at Overstock.com now!

Time to Decorate!

I love interior design; love flipping through magazines and seeing what people can create for thousands of dollars. But, of course, I'm more likely to shop at Target than any designer furniture/decor store. I've created this blog to share the good deals I find around the web. The pieces I find might be less expensive, but they'll make your home just as cozy and beautiful! Please feel free to comment or email me with any great decor items you've found around the web. Enjoy!
